Aim of the project

VET have aimed to:

  • promote work-based learning, with a particular focus on apprenticeships, by involving social partners, businesses, chambers of commerce, and VET providers in its design and delivery; introduce quality assurance mechanisms in VET in accordance with the Recommendation on the establishment of a European Quality Assurance System.
  • improve access to VET and qualifications for all through more flexible and permeable systems, particularly by providing efficient and integrated guidance services and enabling the validation of nonformal and informal learning.
  • strengthen key competences in VET curricula and provide more effective opportunities to acquire or develop those skills through IVET and CVET.
  • facilitate the delivery of high-quality apprenticeships through the Council Recommendation on a European Framework for Quality Apprenticeships, and promote their uptake through the European Alliance for Apprenticeships and the Youth Guarantee.
  • through the European Vocational Skills Week, raise the profile of VET and the benefits it provides to individuals and employers. Although not entirely, a significant portion of VET is devoted with individuals’ first education and training.

Empowering Future Entrepreneurs in Energy & Environment

The project is designed to accommodate the needs of individuals from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds and marginalized communities.

Expected impact:

VETERANS is an innovative and emission minimization-based project that strives for European Union (EU) targets achievement as it is aligned with individuals’ education of upper secondary education, for environmental emissions, humans’ development and it promotes the emission minimization through the impact of real-life personal behaviours and education of entrepreneur learners. The main ambition of the current project is to go beyond the state-of-the-art and offer added value by altering the current way of energy consumption in individuals (including young students and entrepreneur learners) by combining the European Reports about emissions and environmental pollution and the variable parameters that seem to be the milestone of emission maximization in numerous European countries. In this line of approach, entrepreneur learners will be equipped with the needed skills so as to use the green skills in their future entrepreneurial career.
