About Project

A VET Education Program for Energy and Environment Capacities development in the Western Balkans Entrepreneur Learners (VETERANS) is an innovative-energy efficiency and emission minimization project that strives for European Union (EU) targets achievement as it is aligned with VET education as it promotes green skills development in the entrepreneur learners of EU and Westerns Balkans countries. The project will increase the level of competencies, skills, and employability potential of VET course students by creating new and innovative VET education programs, making VET courses more relevant to the labor market. The project design considers the requirements of individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds and underrepresented groups. VETERANS target audiences include VET organizations, teachers, curriculum designers at the VET centers, employers and employers’ organizations, university students, VET students, young professionals, and businesses in the green energy industry. The project will create an innovative educational application for VET learners in the field of entrepreneurship as it will be a package for helping trainers and trainees understand and adapt green skill practices for applying in their job sector. VETERANS will be the milestone leading the EU targets even closer to the fulfillment in close collaboration with Western Balkans countries as the toolkit containing the educational practices will be designed, validated and tested so as to be ready to be used for future capacity building.
